Guided meditation followed by kirtan (call-and-response
mantra chanting and music) and a short reading, all in the Sivananda tradition.

Join
us in the ancient chant Om Namo Narayanaya for inner and outer peace. Chanting
begins in the Peace Garden 30 minutes before the 8am class and ends approximately
five minutes before the start of class. Free and open to all.
Class Description and Information
We teach Classical Hatha Yoga as it is taught at Sivananda centers and ashrams
around the world, a practice that includes pranayama (breathing exercises) as
well as asana (yoga postures). All classes end with guided relaxation.
Classes
are non-competitive and accessible enough for beginners while more advanced students
are encouraged to challenge themselves.
If you are a beginner, you are
welcome at all classes. Bring a towel and/or mat and wear comfortable, non-binding
clothing of any sort.

YOUTH PROGRAM
Yoga can be practiced at any age, but why not start early?
To encourage young people to start a regular Yoga practice, we offer a 5-class
card for only $25 to anyone 21 years old or younger.
Youth Card classes
must be used within 2 months. All proceeds from the Youth Cards go toward our
Youth Scholarship Program, which will help send a lucky young person to Yoga
Teacher's Training at a Sivananda ashram.
